Great picture but has a high pitched whining noise

Iv had my tv for almost 30days. The picture and sound is great, especially on ps5. However over the 30 days it's developed a high pitched whine from the back when displaying bright images. I'm currently speaking to the sony help line so I'm hoping it can be sorted as the noise really ruins the experience of owning what I thought to be a high end tv.

Comprei a Sony x90 há uma semana foi substituir uma samsung de 65" gama média alta com 3 anos tbem era led principais diferenças fluidez da imagem sem arrastamento, imagens no escuro e dentro de água sem manchas , cores fantasticas reais a tecnologia led evoluiu muito esta perto do sistema oled mas com um preço bem inferior, em relação ao som com os médios baixos a apontar para baixo e os agudos nas laterais superiores consegue ter um som simpático e envolvente , ou seja é um produto equilibrado com toda a tecnologia que podemos encontrar numa tv de ultima geração, e muito fácil de colocar a trabalhar assim que se liga à corrente inclusive no meu caso que tenho Meo em casa foi perfeito, desliguei a Meo box menos dois cabos pendurados, Parabens Sony

This is the best Sony TV I have ever bought and I have had over six in the last 25 years. There is nothing too dislike and everything to like; the picture is brilliant, the sound is terrific (don't need to use my surround system very often) and the controls are very user friendly, the connections are very easy and simple to use.

Je me suis orienté vers ce modèle car il répondait à une triple exigence de notre achat. Premier est son prix compétitif Second la taille de l'écran Troisièmement une technologie certes, pas de dernière génération, mais qui a fait ses preuves. Pour avoir tester un Neo Q led, couleurs trop artificielles à mon goût, et des errements techniques qui l'ont rendu totalement irréparable (pannes en série).... Ce qui m'amène sur ce modèle qui fait superbement bien le travail auquel il est sensé réaliser. Un petit bémol, sur des blancs un peu présents, et qu'il faille faire quelques réglages. Sa dalle qui n'est pas anti reflet de mémoire, sont ces deux petites déceptions, mais sont vite oubliées avec le système Google TV, (mieux qu'un Tizen je précise) et très rapide. Je vous le conseille vivement

Après plusieurs tv uniquement LCD ,5 exactement ,(les 2 dernier 55’’ hx 920 et ex 9005 en 65’’)avec mon matériel une TRÈS TRÈS belle image. Bien calibre en sortie carton je continue à peaufiner mes réglages depuis quelques semaines (Canal÷,Netfix)malgré qu’il compressé lourdement,un pur bonheur avec les demos Youtube en 4k merci pour nouvelle télécommande Ps Absence de bravia core es un problème de situation géographique??? Ps Bravia core absent es pour des raisons géographique

Ho comprato questo prodotto un paio di settimane fa ed é veramente un ottimo TV! Funziona alla grande con la PlayStation 5, l'unica cosa che non supporta 1440p per la PlayStation 5 ma penso che ci sarà un modo per farla funzionare.

I hope other buyers will find this very honest review useful. I don’t want this to sound like a bragging exercise because it isn’t, but I have the latest Samsung in the bedroom, the latest LG oled in our lounge and this new Sony EXR in the kitchen, the TV itself cosmetically is extremely nice if not as thin as the latest LG oled, but that didn’t concern me as I wasn’t, aiming for the design of the TV itself, I was very interested in how it would perform against a top end Samsung LED and very high-end LG.0led, and the reality is this is by far a better TV than any Samsung LED in my personal opinion, and if you feed it the right content, is easily as good as my LG oled, which is truly remarkable at the price point, the local dimming works brilliantly. Perhaps not as scientifically perfect as the blacks delivered by Lead, but boy is it impressive for the price, I would caveat that and say the TV is less than perfect with SDR content But I have found that to be the case with most high-end panels, but when the Sony is fed quality 4K footage, like the type you get from built in Bravia, core service which you get free credits for. Thanks Sony unexpected bonus, the TV comes to life and gives extraordinary blacks and beautiful colour and is astonishingly bright. , and my wife and child are the absolute polar opposite, but the first time we all watched the Sony using Bravia core. Everybody commented on the IMAX experience being just stunning. . If LG and Samsung ruled the roost for the last five or so years, that’s over now, Sony is back

An sich ein super TV, aber....

Ich habe den TV in Verbindung mit einer Sony Soundbar gekauft, um die volle Integration (Acoustic Center) zu nutzen. Der TV ist super, das Bild gefällt mir sehr gut, der TV schlank gebaut und die Bedienung ist einfach (hauptsächlich Netflix/Amazon). Die Idee einer zweiten schlanken Bedienung für die alltäglichen Dinge finde ich sehr durchdacht. Leider hatte mein TV einen Fehler beim Anschluss der Center Sync Funktion (starkes Rauschen, gibt's wohl häufiger). Der Support hat auch umgehend einen Fachmann zum Tausch der Platine geschickt. Danach ist es auch deutlich besser geworden, aber dennoch ist ein konstantes Rauschen/Piepsen zu hören, welches sich je nach Bedingung auch verstärkt. Da ich aber auch nicht 5 Mal die Platine tauschen lassen will, werde ich wohl damit leben müssen oder die Funktion doch deaktivieren. Wieso man diese Kopplung nur über ein analoges und somit störanfälliges Signal macht, verstehe ich nicht. Hoffentlich bessert Sony da noch nach, denn diese Funktion war einer meiner Haupt-Kaufgründe (zumindest für die Soundbar). Da der Defekt aber am TV liegt, hier ein Stern abzug.

I purchased the tv 2 weeks ago and was very easy to set up. The tv integrated well with my other products including my Sony sound bar, Sony Blu-ray, Sky Q and Apple TV. Picture quality is excellent. Having the option to fit the feet to fit on my existing stand was also great.

I changed my mini led tv to this one as that one was broken after 4 month of usage. That was a tcl. Unfortunately with Sony I knew it will be pricier but I wanted to try if it worth the extra cost. Let me tell you... The overall experience is amazing. The user interface is so good. I didn't know that a simple full array led can be that good. The sound quality is not that good though. I really miss the built in mic from it. I really used to the ok Google feature. I never knew HDR is that good. When I had it on my tcl I thought it is just a gimmick. Now I can see the difference.

gestochen scharfe Bilder, sehr guter Schwarzwert. Relativ schnelle Programmwechsel. Einziges Manko für mich ist, dass die Dia-Showfunktion nur über den Google Account abläuft es keine Einstellmöglichkeiten der Bilderwechsel gibt. Aber vielleicht kommt das mal mit einem Softwareupdate? Hm Sony? Der Fernseher bekommt von mir aber trotzdem 5 Sterne, weil das Bild so gut ist.

TV muito boa mas com defeito de fabrico. Tv assobia quando tem imagem com muitos brancos. Já houve uma tentativa de reparação mas continua com o mesmo problema. TV com 3 meses e não compreendo porque não é trocada.

Leider braucht der TV bis zu 6 sec für den Senderwechsel bei jeden Umschalten fragt das Ding das CI Modul und Karte ab, in diesen 6 Sec sehe ich nur schwarzen Bildschirm einen runden Ring in der Mitte laufen und rechts unten ein Kästchen mit der Modulabfrage,also nein wir beide werden keine Freunde,würde ich für dieses Geld nicht mehr kaufen,sorry für die schlechte Bewertung. Stelle bitte sicher, dass du eine kompatible Version hast. 2013er und neuere BRAVIA-Modelle verfügen über einen CAM-Einschub mit der Schnittstelle CI+ Version 1.3. Good spec, terrible build quality

Got this as a replacement for another Sony TV which had a hardware fault. Replaced the day 5 yr warranty ran out. I expect a tv to last longer than 5 yrs when it cost £1700, replaced with this, a £1000 tv. Had it 5 weeks then noticed screen has shadows and a grey area, Asked to replace but told my warranty ran out. Consumer credit Act does not seem to exist to Sony who refused to replace for free.I will never buy a Sony product again. Very poorly made product

Très bon écran au vu de la taille et très bon compromis si comme moi vous voulez un grand écran et que l’oled reste encore chère pour cette taille.Sony reste à la hauteur de mes attentes en therme de résultat d’image.Vivement les prochaines technologies c’est du cinéma à la maison,prochaine étape ajouter un système Dolby Atmos.

Not a bad replacement

Picture is good sound is really strong compared to our old tv. Minor gripes are the main metal remote, although very tactile, is more difficult to use than the plastic back up. I am still trying to figure out if I can get cefax, old fashioned but great to check news quickly in a morning. Instructions supplied are very basic.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto da circa un mese e sono pienamente soddisfatto. Colori eccezionali e con la modalità film sembra di essere al cinema. Essendo appassionato di console, pur essendo ottimizzato per PlayStation, ho una Xbox serie X e gioco a 120fps senza alcun tipo di problema, con modalità gioco e hdr10

Ik heb deze tv begin februari gekocht en vergeleken met mn oude 4k smart tv uit 2016 is dit een verademing. Google tv werkt soepel en vlot , hij herkent randapparatuur . Waar de oude tv moeite had met hdr en weerspiegeling van (zon)licht heeft deze hier nagenoeg geen probleem mee . Het beeld van de ps4 is geweldig hierop maar uiteraard kan ik niet wachten om een ps5 erop te gebruiken . Wat kan ik nog meer zeggen ? T geluid is niet onaardig maar zoals bij zo goed als elke platte tv is een surround systeem of soundbar aan te raden om t beste van beeld en geluid te hebben . Er zal altijd wel een tv zijn met meer toeters en bellen nog mooier beeld maar ik ben met dit model dik tevreden .

Schlecht. Es wird wieder die Favoritenliste die beoim ausschalten gestzt war nicht beim einschalten aufgerufen. der KD50 mit der gleichen Softwareversion konnte das. Bin sehr endtäuscht.

Tv di immagini spettacolari per la gestione del colore anche con condizione diversa ambientale di luce . L'interfaccia risulta di facile utilizzo e allo stesso molto reattivo ai comandi.

Ho preso questa TV perché ha 120hz, per i PC avere un monitor da 144 hz in su é fondamentale, quindi ho preferito prendere una TV 120hz così da avere un quadro completo per vedere fluido video, film, giocare ecx

Big Tv or projector was my choice. For the size of room (a garage conversion), the ease and value for money of the TV seemed to be the winner. After a lot of research, I pulled the trigger on this mammoth 85”. This was an upgrade from our Sony 65”. Having an Oled in another room, I was nervous that the larger screen size and different tech, might give me a significantly poorer viewing experience. This definitely isn’t the case! Delighted with the contrast, motion handling and depth of black this TV achieves. The PS5 looks sensational and any 4K movie watching is transformed into a true large screen cinema at home experience. Even the ups along from HD it mighty fine. Delighted with my purchase and would have found it hard to justify the step up to OLED for this size, based on these results.

Upgrading from a Panasonic just a few years old. Can still appreciate the improvements in tech. Nicer interface with it being Google run, more choice apps Works much better with the PS5 too, one of the main reasons for the change.

Although this TV is older technology it represents excellent performance for the price, which had reduced from £1,699 to £999 as this model is phased out. Very easy to set-up and impressive picture and sound quality.
