Einfach erstaunlicher Sound - wunderschön, kraftvoll und vor allem unglaublich detailliert! Wirklich "High Resolution"! Erfreut über die Verfügbarkeit einer hochwertigen Phonostufe (verwendet mit einem Vinyl-Player mit Direktantrieb und dem neuesten Tonabnehmerkopf AT-VM95E)! Die höchste Klangqualität via Bluetooth hat mich überrascht! Ich finde die Qualität des UKW-Radioempfangs gut. Die Klangqualität mit CD-Player und FLAC-Dateien ist unschlagbar! Bravo! Aber es gibt einen kleinen Wunsch: Wenn dieser Verstärker Lautsprecher nicht mit 6 Ohm, sondern mit 4 Ohm unterstützt, würde dies die Auswahl der gewünschten Lautsprecher erheblich erleichtern! Vielleicht in nachfolgenden modellen? Die Fernbedienung hat mir gefallen - sehr gut gemacht! Ich bin rundum zufrieden und kann es weiterempfehlen! Vielen Dank!

Ho comprato un amplificatore DH190SRT da 100w. Sono molto soddisfatto dell' acquisto. Ho chiesto alcune informazioni al servizio clienti e pur parlando con un AI ho avuto risposto esaurienti a tutte le mie domande. L' unico problema è venuto fuori quando ho cercato di inserire in ingresso un equalizzatore. Purtroppo non ci sono riuscito come avevo già fatto in precedenza con altri amplificatori.

It's an ok entry-level amplifier for vinyl, but..

I like things to be as simple as possible, as I'm partially-blind. Sound-wise; it's fine. It's an entry-level integrated amplifier with phono support, that was obviously not going-to be as good a replacement for my Creek® amplifier; but there is sufficient power there to drive two good sets of audiophile-quality speakers. I couldn't quite fit my original speaker wire gauge in these spring-mounted connection clips; which has affected the quality somewhat. The antenna didn't work from new, and was only told to purchase one from an online Sony® parts re-distribution store; seemingly affiliated-to Sony®. I haven't done this yet, as I don’t quite trust the site, it’s expensive; and I don’t quite know why Sony® wouldn’t send a replacement. I am somewhat frustrated that quite a few of the controls are only available to change via the remote-control. Basic sound changes. Bass, treble, balance; and also changing the ohm rating, etc. These are basics; so, I did expect a bit more from an entry-level amplifier that has a ‘less than smooth’ physical volume feel, a seemingly worsening electrical ‘clunk’ each time this amplifier is turned both on and off, and it does seem-to get quite hot, too. I’m just wondering how long this is going-to last, if I’m honest; and whether the Sony customer-services team are simply going-to tell me where to purchase a new amplifier from, if it all just fails. Just as they did with the failed antenna. I was forced-to take this machine; (to be able-to hear important audible text that I cannot see to read) so, I really cannot complain; but given the choice as a partially-sighted person, I’d have personally chosen an amplifier with physically adjustable ‘basic’ controls; rather-than relying upon braille via the remote-control unit. It’ll be fine for someone who just wants a basic sounding system, and also wants-to connect a turntable as part of that set-up. As this amplifier seems-to work best with vinyl.

Also, you adjust the volume using the volume button on the receiver instead of using the remote control by following the steps on page 22 here: https://cutt.ly/drjxmg2a And you can learn more about the parts and controls of the amplifier on page 8.
Regarding the 'clunk' noise issue, make sure to follow the steps below and test again:
1. Check that the speakers and device are connected securely.
2. Unplug the amplifier from the mains and plug it back in after 1 minute.
3. Make sure that the connecting cables are not near a transformer or motor.
4. Move your audio device away from the TV.
5. If the plugs and jacks are dirty, wipe them with a cloth slightly moistened with alcohol.
Although the receiver heats up during operation, this is not a malfunction. If you continuously use this receiver at a large volume, the cabinet temperature of the top, side, and bottom rises considerably. To avoid burning yourself, do not touch the cabinet.
Also, you can prevent heat buildup by placing the receiver in a location with adequate ventilation.

Good sounding Amplifier

Amplifier sounds good and Bluetooth works very well and connects easily to other devices. FM tuner sounds ok although would have been better if the aerial socket was a proper 75ohm coaxial one as the wire aerial supplied isn't good also why isn't the tuner a Dab one because there aren't many FM stations left anymore. The unit also has a noisy mains transformer which causes the case to resonate I lessened the hum by placing small weight over the area where the transformer and it worked.

Transformer humming noise

I have been a fan of Sony quality products all my life, had many items over the years, including my current TV, can't believe I can only give this amp 2 stars. That is due to after just two weeks of using, it has an incessant hum that is not acceptable. Looking online, other people have had the same issue with this model. It's gone back to Amazon for repair, I sort of hope it can't be, so I can get a refund and buy another make. Had several HiFi amps and never had one him like this, my last Marantz was silent, as was the Rotel before that. Very odd for a Sony item. The amp is very good functionally and great sound connected to my Systemdek turntable or Bluetooth to my phone, even more of a shame it has such a flaw!

Parfait avec un bémol

A remplacé un ampli tuner Cambridge. Globalement le Sony le remplace très bien, sauf un gros bémol au niveau de la prise d'antenne FM. Je suis en montagne et j'avais dû utiliser un ampli TV/FM sur une prise d'antenne type TV. Rien de cela sur le Sony, c'est très dommage, ce qui me fait regretter mon achat. Avez-vous une solution ?

Vorige maand een receiver gekocht. Nu blijkt dat er geen externe antenna op de FM receiver aangesloten kan worden, alleen maar een draadje met een niet-standaard stekkertje. Sony heeft nog niet in de gaten dat de meeste mensen niet onder een FM zender wonen. Contact met de servicedesk: wij hebben geen mogelijkheid om dit op te lossen. Kortom mensen wees gewaarschuwd: koop GEEN receiver van Sony want de radio heb je geen fluit aan!

Disappointing chassis hum spoils listening

I chose the STR-DH190 because it has all the features I was seeking, adequate power output, multiple line inputs and compact size, BUT the STR-DH190 I received has an annoying electro-mechanical chassis hum, audible at some distance from my Hi Fi station. Note that this hum is not the result of a hum loop but emanates from the casing of the STR-DH190. It is the type of the noise that is customarily associated with an inadequately secured windings or cores of a mains transformer.. I have not returned the item because I am not confident that Sony's automated returns process will give me an STR-DH190 that is free of this electro-mechanical hum.

Bought this model particularly because it has a phono input. I try to play it above 35 on volume, it goes into safe mode. I can play bluetooth music around 70 with no trouble.

Please, make sure of the following:
- If your turntable has a grounding terminal, connect grounding wire.
- If you connect a turntable with a PHONO/LINE switch, make sure that the PHONO/LINE switch on the turntable is set to PHONO.
Alternatively, you can try resetting the device to its factory settings by turning it off and holding the power button for 5 seconds until the word "CLEARING" appear on the screen.

I bought this Tuner/Amp with Bluetooth from Richer Sounds in Bournemouth. It is absolutely superb, the quality of build and sound is exceptional. Also having a remote control makes the unit easy to manage while sitting down listening. Would recommend 👌.

Poor audio quality

I bought this so I could input a turntable and the ease of using devices over the Bluetooth. But using a program on my MacBook causes the sound to screech annoyingly. Have looked for answers on the internet and have contacted Sony who never even bothered to get back to me. If I could I would return the amp for my money. I paid for a Sony product as thought it would be sound piece of equipment but it not.

We'd like to highlight that if you have your turntable connected to the stereo receiver and there is severe humming we recommend checking if your turntable has a grounding terminal and we recommend checking (Page 16) on the operating instructions: http://bit.do/fURFb, but if the sound is distorted and you have the turntable connected to the receiver using a PHONO/Line switch, make sure that the PHONO/LINE switch on the turntable is set to PHONO (Page 17) on the operating instructions: http://bit.do/fURFb.
If the severe humming or noise happens when a Bluetooth device is connected, we recommend to make sure that there is no obstructions between the receiver and your Bluetooth device, also check if there is a device that generates electromagnetic radiation, such as wireless LAN, other BLUETOOTH device, or a microwave oven nearby and move it away, also turn down the volume of the connected Bluetooth device.

Ik heb de receiver eind vorige maand gekocht. FM voor zenders in Nederland niet meer beschikbaar. FM-draadantenne niet meegeleverd, hoewel dit artikel wel in de Gebruiksaanwijzing als bijgeleverd item vermeld staat. Toch moest ik de volle prijs betalen. Teleurstellend!!

4 mois pour une livraison en période de Covid19. Ca valait la peine d'attendre malgré tout. Mis à part l'absence de prise USB, il a tout ce dont j'ai besoin. La quadriphonie est très bien gérée. Le traitement platine vinyle est de qualité. La fonction bluetooth fonctionne parfaitement. La puissance est là et équilibrée. Je suis dans une zone qui capte mal la FM et le tuner est le plus performant de mes autres récepteurs. Pour finir, un bon rapport qualité prix pour une entrée de gamme sérieuse.

Mein bisheriger Sony-Verstärker hat zwar noch gut funktioniert, da ich aber den alten Tuner austauschen wollte, habe ich mich für die Anschaffung eines Receivers entschieden. An sich bin ich mit dem Gerät zufrieden, jedoch wirkt sich das Fehlen eines Antenneneingangs schon sehr negativ aus. Ich ärgere mich jedesmal, wenn ich auf Radioempfang schalte und das Gerät einen Empfang hat wie ein billiges Radio.

Gutes Gerät, leider aber ohne DAB+ und Kabelanschluss, sondern nur mit (sehr mäßigem) UKW-Empfang über einen billigen Wurfantennendraht. DAB-C kann man nur umständlich über einen gesonderten Kabelreceiver als AUDIO-Input nutzen (und dann ohne Anzeige des Senders) - das ist für 2020 nicht mehr zeitgemäß! SONY Hat leider auch in höheren Preiskategorien gar keine oder kaum DAB+ (oder DAB-C) fähige Receiver im Angebot.

Einfach erstaunlicher Sound - wunderschön, kraftvoll und vor allem unglaublich detailliert! Wirklich "High Resolution"! Erfreut über die Verfügbarkeit einer hochwertigen Phonostufe (verwendet mit einem Vinyl-Player mit Direktantrieb und dem neuesten Tonabnehmerkopf AT-VM95E)! Die höchste Klangqualität via Bluetooth hat mich überrascht! Ich finde die Qualität des UKW-Radioempfangs gut. Die Klangqualität mit CD-Player und FLAC-Dateien ist unschlagbar! Bravo! Aber es gibt einen kleinen Wunsch: Wenn dieser Verstärker Lautsprecher nicht mit 6 Ohm, sondern mit 4 Ohm unterstützt, würde dies die Auswahl der gewünschten Lautsprecher erheblich erleichtern! Vielleicht in nachfolgenden modellen? Die Fernbedienung hat mir gefallen - sehr gut gemacht! Ich bin rundum zufrieden und kann es weiterempfehlen! Vielen Dank!
