Ich nutze den Adapter an der A7M3 (vorher A7M2) zusammen mit SAL70400G und bin voll zufrieden. Die Kombi funktioniert prima. Alle Funktionen, die ich brauche sind da. Ich wollte eigentlich den LA-EA5 haben. Hab bestellt und getestet, aber der kann meine Tamron Objektive nicht bedienen (AF geht nicht. Nur MF). Den hab ich wieder zurückgeschickt und bleib weiterhin beim LA-EA4. Das Schöne wäre halt gewesen, daß man 1 Trumm weniger mit rumschleppen und suchen muß.

Ich nutze den Adapter sowohl an der Sony A6300, als auch an der A7II und der A7III. Er funktioniert einwandfrei. Insbesondere mit Sony Objektiven (SAL1650F28 und SAL2875F28) ist der Autofokus sehr schnell, wenn auch nicht auf dem Niveau nativer E Mount Objektive. Auch mit Objektiven von Drittherstellern funktioniert er einwandfrei (Sigma EX DG HSM 50/1.4, Sigma EX DG HSM OS 70-200/2.8, Tamron SP 15-30/2.8). An allen meinen Kameras wird AF-C unterstützt. An der A7III funktioniert zusätzlich auch der Eye AF. Es ist definitiv ein solides Produkt mit guter Verarbeitung. Lediglich ein Mangel am Design ist auffällig: Er ist nicht spritzwassergeschützt. Dies ist sehr schade wenn man ein spritzwassergeschütztes Objektiv an einer spritzwassergeschützen Kamera nutzt, dieser Schutz jedoch durch den verwendeten Adapter verloren geht.

I bought this so that I could could continue to use my two motorised A mount lenses and benefit from the new technology on my mirrorless a9. Reading reviews this seems to be a better choice than the LA-EA4 which still relies on screw driven focusing. So far I’m pleased with the results.

Der Adapter ist gut um A-Mount Objektive am neuen E-Mount adaptieren zu können. Mit Objektiven von Sony funktioniert das auch sehr gut. Leider wird an A-Mount Objektiven die für meine MINOLTA303si gebaut wurden (35-80 und 70-210mm), funktioniert der Autofokus nicht bzw. nicht vollständig.

Bon produit pour celui qui veut utiliser ses anciens objectifs motorisés Minolta/Konica/Sony (SAM ou SSM) . Cette bague permet d'utiliser des objectifs avec monture Sony A sur un appareil photo avec monture Sony E en conservant les principales fonctions d'autofocus. Cependant elle ne permet de faire d'utiliser le système d'autofocus par Zone et de "Lock on AF".

Ik heb deze adapter gekocht om een Sony adapter gekocht om mijn SAL70200G te kunnen gebruiken op mijn A7SII. Deze lens die normaal voor een A-mount is gemaakt past daarmee op mijn sony E-mount. Daarmee is dan ook alles gezegd, de autofocus in foto modus werkt nouwelijks en in video modus is deze zelfs totaal niet werkend en zelfs niet mogelijk. Toen ik deze (full frame) lens op mijn crop sensor A6500 testte moest ik vaststellen dat de autofocus hier wel lichtjes beter werkte (maar zeker niet goed) en dat de video autofocus hier ook niet mogelijk was. Hoe kan dit, zelfs de sigma lenzen voor canon met een sigma MC-11 adapter werken prima op elk van de hier genoemde sony toestellen. Waarom kan het dan dat een sony lens, met sony adapter op een sony toestel niet werkt. Ik heb recent ook gecontroleerd of er misschien een software update was die dit kon verbeteren, maar die is er niet.

Alors du côté des points positifs, les contacts permettent d'avoir les caractéristiques de ses paramètres sur ses photos. On ne perd rien en luminosité, produit costaud et bien fini. Du côté des points négatifs, disons que pour l'autofocus, il faut clairement oublier. Mais on n'achète pas ce genre de produit pour avoir un AF performant. Non le réel point négatif, c'est que la bague n'est pas capable de gérer l'ouverture que l'on règle. Il se cale à sa valeur maximum, donc à F1.8 si c'est le cas de son objectif et il faut faire le point avec cette ouverture et cliquer pour prendre sa photo. C'est qu'un fois qu'on appuye sur le déclencheur que l'adapteur va caler l'ouverture à celle configurée. Le résultat de l'ouverture n'est alors visible que sur le résultat final. C'est un peu ennuyeux pour faire de la macro où l'on se cale souvent à f11 ou f13. Franchement techniquement il pourrait le faire. Dommage.

Bin von der Sony A77 auf die Alpha 6500 umgestiegen und wollte natürlich die A-Mount Objektive weiter verwenden. Autofocus funktioniert für meine Bedürfnisse super mit angetriebenen Objektiven - auch der bekannten Fremdmarken. Bei den Objektiven mit Stangenabtrieb - wie erwartet - natürlich nicht, was aber bei Weitwinkel nicht wirklich stört. Bisher vollauf zufrieden

I bought the LA-EA3 so I could use my sonic-drive A-mount glass (Sony and third party) with my new A7II, excited to have both on-sensor PDAF and CDAF to choose from. Unfortunately the PDAF is slow and unreliable, requiring good light and a detailed and contrasty target to successfully focus. CDAF is slower still, with many micro-adjustments at the end of the focusing cycle, but is unfailingly accurate. Interestingly, when PDAF does manage to lock on and focus successfully, it is then able to track rather well in continuous AF. But after extensive tests, I regrettably returned the LA-EA3 to the supplier for a refund. It may be that it works well on other Sony cameras (such as the A6000-series and the A7RII), but performance is too weak for me to recommend it in tandem with the A7II. Conversely, the LA-EA4 I've bought works flawlessly, closely matching the PDAF in my Sony A99-based Hasselblad HV.

Man kann damit a-Objektive mechanisch an einem e-Body anbringen. Und damit hat es sich dann auch schon getan. Keine Blendensteuerung, kein Autofocus. Ich verwende es um ein Fisheye anzubringen. Das Objektiv hat eine manuelle Blendeneinstellung und ab 1.5m stellt man den Focus sowieso auf unendlich. Mit diesem Objektiv passt das Teil einwandfrei. Da ich es aber für meine anderen Objektive nicht verwenden werde, nur 2 Sterne.

Nichts wackelt, wenn er verwendet wird. Da die neuen A7-Modelle Phasen-Detektoren für den schnelleren Autofokus auf dem Bildsensor haben, wird der teurere LA-EA4-Adapter mit diesen Kameras nicht benötigt. Der Autofokus funktioniert mit meinem angeschlossenen Tamron 24-70/2.8 schnell und problemlos, wenn auch nicht ganz so flott wie mit E--Mount-Objektiven. Das kann aber auch einfach an dem Objektiv selber liegen. Bestimmte AF-Funktionen wie Fokus-Vergrößerung beim manuellen Fokussieren oder der DMF-Modus sowie bestimmte andere funktionieren mit diesem Adapter nicht. Wer darauf Wert legt, muss die E-Mount-Objektive von Sony und Zeiss benutzen.

At first I thought I was going to have trouble with it as after a few shots with the SAL 70-400mm a warning popped up on the screen. Re-attaching the lens cured this. One or two glitches later I decided it was either just contacts bedding-in or my failure to make sure the mechanism had clicked into position. I've had no problems since and have changed back and forth between 70-400mm and 24-70mm as well as removing the LA-EA3 completely and re-attaching the FE 55mm.

Ik heb deze adapter tweedehands gekocht omdat ik zoomobjectieven met Sony/Minolta vatting wil gebruiken op mijn A7. Met deze adapter worden de EXIF data van het objectief in de fotobestanden geschreven en dat is een groot gemak als je lensprofielen maakt voor Adobe Lightroom. Bij al mijn (oudere) objectieven moet ik handmatig scherpstellen omdat de adapter geen eigen AF-motor heeft, vind ik geen probleem. Over het algemeen werkt de adapter goed. Een enkele keer heb ik meegemaakt dat de camera niet wil uitschakelen en moet ik de accu loshalen. Ook moet ik geregeld de ontspanknop aantikken om na het nemen van een foto het diafragma weer te kunnen verstellen. Omdat de adapter tweedehands is, weet je natuurlijk nooit of hij nog helemaal in orde is. In ieder geval is hij goed bruikbaar en ik heb er al veel plezier van gehad met vooral een oude Minolta AF 35-70mm 1:4, een uitstekend objectief dat me 10 euro heeft gekost. Je krijgt toegang tot veel oud spul dat vaak voor een habbekrats te koop en prima resultaten kan geven.

Het is een apparaat wat het makkelijker maakt om a lenzen op e-mount te gebruiken. Jammer dat geen automatische scherpstelling mogelijk is. Voor de rest degelijk zoals alles van Sony uitgevoerd.

Given what this does I am surprised that this adaptor is so small, compact and lightweight. However being a same-brand adaptor, the autofocus speed when using lenses should be quicker. I use it with a SAL-1635Z and the autofocus is very slow compared with the nearly instant autofocus of the kit E mount lens. I also find that the fit on the E mount side of this adaptor, where it attaches to the camera body, could be more rigid although this may have more to do with the E mount design rather than the adaptor itself.

je suis passé de la bague la-ea1 à la la-ea3 pour avoir la compatibilité avec les hybrides 24x36 A7 que je ne possède pas encore .Les fonctionnalités sont conservés, cependant je regrette le pied qui permet de monter sur trépied qui est maintenant fixe alors que l'on pouvait le retirer sur le premier modèle.

Ik heb de adapter gelijk met de camera gekocht omdat ik over een flink aantal Sony objectieven beschik. In de praktijk heb ik de adapter nog nauwelijks gebruikt omdat het voordeel van de Sony A7 in handelbaarheid negatief wordt beïnvloed door de combinatie van adapter met de oude lenzen. Ik werk nu heel veel met de FE 35/2.8 en daar ben ik heel tevreden mee.
