I've been a professional photographer since the late 80's. As the years have gone by the studio grew and I moved into the management of the business. This has meant that I've not been shooting seriously for about 10 years. Well, I decided to change that, it's easy when you own the studio, and get back to what I love best, making images. I decided to buck the studio trend of Hasselblad's and Canon's and try the Sony. I'm glad I did, the speed and accuracy of the focus is outstanding and the camera as a whole handles very nicely. It feels solid and doesn't need to wrapped in cotton wool. Now everyone in the studio wants to borrow it!

Etant donné la politique de diffusion de Sony sur ce type de boitier et résident en province , j'ai acquis mon a9 sur un site internet . Afin de disposer d' un appareil au mieux de sa forme ,le jour même de sa réception j'ai tenté une mise à jour firmware recommandée par Sony, cette mise à jour ne s"est pas effectuée complètement et le boitier est inutilisable depuis. C'est là que cela se complique car pour un boitier pro (qui se veut le challenger des boîtiers Canon 1DX II et Nikon D5) la disponibilité et l'assistance auprès des pros est loin d’être mise en place. il faut tout d'abord essayé de contacter les services techniques ,remplir un formulaire de demande d'intervention ,envoyer ( à vos frais ) le boitier et à partir de là attendre des informations. J'en suis là aujourd'hui ! Je suis , par ailleurs , membre CPS Canon et suis en mesure de vous confirmer que le service pro canon est très loin devant cette ébauche d'assistance aux pros proposée par Sony.

Aus zweiter Hand, gebraucht, sechs Jahre alt. Ja, das kann gut gehen. Für Actionfotografie ist sie mit bis zu 20 B/s und einem stacked Sensor fast ohne Rolling Shutter besser geeignet als die meisten aktuellen Kameras. Und sie ist inzwischen auch bezahlbar.

Je viens d'acheter un Alpha 9 première génération en remplacement d'un A7III. Pour un appareil conçu voila plus de 7 ans, il est encore au top de la vélocité ! Auto focus très réactif, obturateur électronique exceptionnel, rafale redoutable, vous trouverez certainement un peu mieux, mais beaucoup plus cher ! Il reste dans le commerce encore quelques exemplaires neufs à moindre coût, profitez-en.

J'ai acheté cet Alpha 9 il y maintenant 2 mois et je ne le regrette pas. Il fait tout très bien, en animalier, accompagné du 200/600 c'est un sacré ensemble. Il me reste à le tester avec le 300 F2.8 pour voir. La montée en iso est sympa, la rafale c'est une arme de guerre, la batterie est géniale.

Ich bin begeistert von der Kamera. Für Sport oder action Portraits ist der Autofokus ungeschlagen. Die Batterie hält eine Ewigkeit. Die RAWs zeigen den grün und Magenta Stich älterer Sony Kameras, aber die Jpegs liefern hervorragende Farben. Und für wen es darauf ankommt, der Shutter sound macht große Freude.

Habe nach einigen Jahren als Ergänzung zur A7III die A9 gekauft. Es ist keineswegs vergleichbar. Die Kamera ist einfach schneller, es fühlt sich alles besser an, Sucher und Display sind deutlich schöner. Einzig die Bedienung ist leider ähnlich undurchsichtig und das Rauschverhalten etwas schlechter.

e una macchina fantastica l'unico difetto riscontrato e il tasto di scatto delle Sony ho posseduto due Sony a7iii ho una sonya7rii e due Sony a9 e devo dire che cè lo stesso problema in scatto silenzioso non si ha la percezione dello scatto quando si schiaccia il pulsante, cosa che in altre fotocamere Fuji e Canon non succede, e visto che costa 5000 euro mi aspettavo di non trovare più questo problema, ho dovuto ovviare mettendo il suono elettronico sullo scatto silenzioso e con il rumore riesco a percepire lo scatto e cambia anche la fine corsa del pulsante.

J'ai vendu mon A7 markIII pour acheter un A9 début septembre 2023 mais il m'est arrivé une mésaventure très très douloureuse et ceci due au mauvais emplacement du bouton de déverrouillage de l'objectif situé là exactement ou l'on place les doigts en tenant le boitier à pleine main: l'objectif s'est désolidarisé du boitier et ce dernier est tombé , l'écran côté sol d'ou une fracture de celui-ci.Mon boitier est parti chez Sony pour une demande de devis de réparation......et j'appréhende la sentence!

Sono fotografo professionista, soprattutto di matrimonio. Adoro tutte le qualità della A9 ma non ha assolutamente la affidabilità necessaria ad un professionista. Ho due corpi A9 da circa due anni, che curo in maniera maniacale. Entrambi a distanza di 10 giorni hanno smesso di mettere a fuoco premendo i tasto di scatto a metà corsa. Mandate in assistenza. Una settimana fa in una delle due è scomparso il rilevamento visi, il fuoco sugli occhi e il tracking AF. Il tutto all'improvviso e in piena stagione lavorativa. In sintesi é una macchina splendida per un amatore che può permettersi una interruzione delle prestazioni della macchina, ma totalmente inadatta ad un professionista per il quale l'affidabilità è fondamentale.

Ho compito l'A9 dopo aver avuto modo di utilizzarla a noleggio. Per il mio modo di fotografare è la camera ideale. Qualità e velocità in un corpo compatto e leggero, una volta capita e settata la trovo anche molto ergonomica. Scattare con l'otturatore elettronico è un'altra caratteristica diventata ormai irrinunciabile.

The A9 makes life a lot easier at quiet music performances in very low light. I never have to worry about ruining the sound for others or flooding the room with light when chimping. The eye detect is great and I very rarely suffer banding - even in combined lighting. The body is not the most comfortable camera I’ve owned but I’m willing to sacrifice that for the results.

Après plus de deux ans d'utilisation, ce boîtier est toujours aussi exceptionnel. Ses principales qualités: la régularité des résultats quelques soient les conditions. La visée sans blackout, l'autofocus très fiable, le silence de fonctionnement, l'autonomie importante de la batterie et la molette supplémentaire sont des caractéristiques qui en font encore et pour longtemps un outil professionnel appréciable.

I bought an A7iii to try before deciding to move from my 5Div / 1Dx Canon bodies and multiple lens system. I was pretty impressed so moved across, buying the 25-105, 90mm macro, 85mm, 100-400gm and the 70-200 f2.8. Then I bought the A9. Good grief, so much better for sports / action / wildlife. Great camera body.

I'm a female, professional nature photographer and freelance writer and use my camera for a very diverse range of shots, many of which rely on fast continuous focus. This camera is the tops to track birds in flight, even with the subject coming towards you. It's fast and reliable. The only downside is the electronics are very fragile so don't flip your screen out near splashing water! The camera is perfect for my slim hands, but can't comment on how a bear-paw holder would feel. The menu is very well set up to find something fast and easy without endless scrolling. One has to rethink ISO as it takes much higher amounts in twilight than other makes. It's also much lighter than other products which makes traveling a lot easier. )In combination with the 150-500 lens there is no compromise in quality and depth of field with a 5.6 max aperture compared to my previous 2.8 prime lens - the bokeh effects are stunning.)

Utilizzo due corpi A9 da circa due anni con ottimi risultati fino a quando all'improvviso entrambe le macchine a distanza di dieci giorni hanno smesso di mettere a fuoco premendo il pulsante di scatto. A quanto pare è un problema comune su questo. Anche Sony pare che abbia ricosciuto il difetto ma senza riconoscere la ripa ione gratuita. Un problema inaccettabile in un prodotto presentato come professionale. La A9 non soddisfa i requisiti di affidabilità per l utilizzo professionale

Ich hatte mehr erwartet. Die Kamera wurde mit ausgezeichneten Eigenschaften angekündigt. Nach den Berichten über diese Kamera bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass sie technisch an der Spitze ist. Dafür ist sie aber wohl schon zu lange auf dem Markt.

Am 25.5. gekauft und voll unterwegs alle persönlichen Einstellungen in den Menüs zu konfigurieren. Nach Canon 80D, Nikon D500 und Z6, die A9 ist sensationell! Nur den Sucher der Z6 fehlt. Damit kann ich aber sehr sehr gut mit leben, sage nur AF,....... Passt hervorragend zu meiner A6600.

I brought the sonya9 about 2 months ago , and I’m so glad I spent my money on it . I set it up for wild life and sports and I haven’t mist a shot the 20 frames a second just blows my mined with no blackout . I would recommend this camera to every one that is into wild life

Only had this for a couple of weeks, I have owned Canon and Nikon over 20 years and got into Sony 2 years ago. I have been happy with my A7 iii since new, and decided to buy the A9, over the years I have slowly purchased GM Lenses and the A9 shows that glass off. With fast eye detection sports and wildlife looks stunning and with 20 FPS you never miss a shot. I will Never get rid of my A7 iii but the A9 is a massive step up. Hopefully I can edit this review and add some pics. If you can spare the cash buy it while the price is as low at it is.

I have had this 3 years and it has performed well. The sensor picks up dust easily. The vibrating sensor cleaner has little effect.

Ich bin von der Canon 5D IV zur A9 gewechselt. Für mich fiel die Entscheidung mit dem sehr guten SEL 200-600mm. Leicht und sehr gutes Bild Ergebnis in der Combi.

Vorige maand gekocht. Dus toch eerst wat willen experimenteren vooraleer een review te maken. Mijn primaire camera is de A7SII, maar hierbij had ik toch redelijk wat problemen met de autofocus. Spijtig genoeg was de A7SIII toch nog te duur voor mijn budget en koos ik voor deze A9 die nu (mogelijk in het aanschijn van een komende A9III) merkelijk in prijs is verlaagd. Hierbij is de lichtgevoeligheid wel vreselijk slecht tov mijn A7SII. Uitgebreidere nabewerking maakt alles wel goed, in die zin is het gemakkelijker om het ruis weg te werken dan onscherpte. Vandaar de uitstekende beoordeling. De grip vind ik net iets te groot, mijn vingers komen soms wat geperst tussen body en lens en ook het bevestigen van lenzen is om deze reden minder gemakkelijk dan bij de A7SII.

Ce l’ho da poco tempo ma ho la netta sensazione che le emozioni che già mi ha regalato, siano destinate ad aumentare di giorno in giorno ... d’altronde che si tratti di un prodotto, o, meglio, di un sistema di riferimento è un sospetto che nasce anche dal fatto che per descriverne le doti, ogni nuova ammiraglia venga paragonata a questa.

Ho acquistato questa camera circa un anno fa, la camera ha un’ottima resistenza agli alti iso e riesce a mettere a fuoco in luoghi con poca luce, ma di giorno ha quella marcia in più. Unisce la semplicità d’uso alla capacità di soddisfare le richieste più complesse. In afc da il meglio di se, afs secondo me, si può fare di meglio. Sono molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto

This camera is one I have sought for so long since it came out and is perfect for my needs, very responsive and great AF. I replaced my A7III with this as I like the size and with the newer A9 being slightly bigger it has started to get into the bigger range and I prefer the original. The speed of this camera is phenomenal and I find I catch that bit more when there is fast movement involved. It also works well in low light. I know there are newer models coming out but I suspect they will follow the new size that most people seem to like.
