Premesso che ho già una A7SM3 e volevo questa da affiancare per foto e video, la mia recensione sarà basata su questo confronto. 1. Lato video, migliorata tanto rispetto ad R4, con i molteplici fattori di crop si può convivere, il problema si presenta sui suoi 2 punti di forza, autofocus e stabilizzazione, peggiore della s3 in entrambi i casi. L'autofocus aggancia i soggetti ma fa confusione su quale tenere, io l'ho testato ad una festa di compleanno di bambini, inoltre il traking touch è poco reattivo e a volte non capisce cova vuoi agganciare, la s3 a parità di inquadratura faceva tutto alla perfezione. Lato stabilizzatore, pessima, in video non accompagna, tende a bloccare l'immagine e se fate un pan vi ritroverete con un'immagine davvero scattosa, sia in modalità Standard che Active, se provate a fare un'orbita piccola potete salutare la vostra ripresa perchè è da cestinare. Mi direte: si ma non è nata per i video, vi rispondo NI, visto il costo dovrebbe fare bene entrambe le cose :) non pretendo ai livelli della s3 come la tenuta iso, che ho trovato ottima in rapporto ai megapixel e motivo per cui non do una stella. Lato foto, qui viene il bello, testata la funzione enhanced di camera raw, che porta le foto della s3 a 48Mpx, la differenza tra le due si assottiglia vertiginosamente. Nel mio caso faccio molto reportage, la r5 mi ha attirato per i ruoi raw a meno megapixel, così non è stato, il 25mpx della r5 pesa appena 10 mega in meno del 61mpx compresso, quindi che senso ha a questo punto scattare a 25? Stessa cosa per i 15Mpx, pesano 30Mb a foto contro i 13Mb compressi della S3. Traete voi le conclusioni. Nitidezza: scordatevi di usare lenti economiche, con la r5 tirano fuori il peggio di se, questo lo sappiamo tutti, lenti che sulla s3 a tutta apertura sono delle lame, sulla r5 sono morbide al limite dello sfocato. In conclusione: ho deciso di fare il reso e tenermi stretta la s3 anche per le foto, con la funzione enhanced di photoshop diventa una camera all around, completa e scattante per via dei pochi mega pixel, minor prezzo e 120fps in 4k con autofocus. È una camera che non vale quella cifra, sicuramente starò lontano in futuro dalla serie R e sopratutto dalle recensioni di youtube, che non considerano minimamente l'utilizzo reale ma fanno solo test in studio inutili quando esci fuori.

Ich komme von der a6600 und habe mir die A7rv nach langem Überlegen gekauft. Hoffnungen, die ich mit der Kamera verbunden habe, waren vor allem mit einer höheren Bildqualität bei Foto und Video sowie mit Croppotential verbunden. Was mich im Moment am meisten gefällt ist der Body. Die Kamera liegt für mich sehr viel besser in der Hand und bietet einfach mehr und bessere Möglichkeiten als die A6600. Was die Bildqualität und das Croppotential angeht bin ich aktuell etwas ernüchtert. Ich weiß noch nicht ob das Problem ich bin - oder die Kamera. Aber es ist wirklich nicht einfach für mich wirklich scharfe Fotos zu machen (ich nutze das Sigma 105mm und das Sony 200-600mm, fotografiere va Wildlife). Im Moment sind die Fotos durchgehend nicht so scharf wie die von der a6600 - es ist eher selten dass es knackig scharf ist. Ich glaube dass es teilweise mit dem AF zusammenhängt, der bei Tieren oft nicht das Auge erwischt. Auch das Rauschen scheint mir früher also mit niedrigerem ISO viel stärker sichtbar zu sein. Ich weiß dass die A7RV keine „einfache“ Kamera ist. Die hohe Sensorauflösung und die vielen Einstellmöglichkeiten beim AF fordern saubere Belichtung, ruhige Hand und Ausprobieren. Trotzdem habe ich eine bessere Baseline erwartet. Ich habe die Hoffnung aber noch nicht aufgegeben - und wenn es nicht besser wird werde ich die Kamera auch zum Check einschicken. Vielleicht gibt es ja auch irgendeinen Mangel. Aber enttäuscht bin ich trotzdem erst einmal.

An improvement over the Mk. III that I was using. Menus are easier to navigate, camera sits in the hand comfortably. Close focussing not as fast or reliable as I had hoped but continuous manual focus override is excellent. MAJOR DISADVANTAGE is that the Creators App. disconnects location information if not in continuous use and so GPS stamp on photos is unreliable unless you keep checking location linkage in the App. every 2 minutes. UGH.

I've now had this camera body for a month, having upgraded from my A7riii. The A7rv is packed with an awful lot more features and control over final images. Still image quality is superb, taking full advantage of the higher resolution. Video also shows a marked difference in quality. The body especially with the grip, feels comfortable and balanced with long lenses. Still image picture styles allow for much greater control in camera. Paired with the 24-70 f2.8 GMii, 70-200 GM, 100-400 GM and 200-600 G OSS, I'm very happy with the images, considering I'm still trying different set ups. I have absolutely no regrets having purchased this camera from WEX Photo Video.

Een schitterende camera

Ik heb deze camera, A7RM5, eind juli 2023 aangeschaft als opvolger van mijn A7R3. Redenen om deze camera aanschaffen waren het lcd scherm wat over verschillende assen gedraaid kan worden, de hogere 61 Mp resolutie en de geavanceerde object herkenning mogelijkheden. Deze camera heeft me daarin niet teleurgesteld, in tegendeel. Het lcd scherm is een genot om te gebruiken. De hoge resolutie is niet direct nodig maar in crop mode blijft dan nog een respectabele 26 Mp van over, meer dan mijn huidige aps-c camera. Dus wanneer ik extra bereik nodig heb is er voldoende resolutie beschikbaar. De nieuwe menustructuur vind ik ook een verbetering t.o.v. mijn vorige A7RM3. Het lcd scherm is nu ook een touch screen. Al met al een schitterende camera.

Eigentlich gibt es nur einen Punkt, den ich verbessert haben möchte: den Crop-Factor beim Filmen. Beim Fotografieren habe ich keine Wünsche mehr. Super Bild-Stabilisation auch bei schlechtem Licht. Beim Filmen kann ich meistens auf den Gimbal verzichten.

Beindruckendes Stück Technik

Das ist mittlerweile meine vierte Sony a7R. Seit 2014 hatte ich immer auf die neueste Version gesetzt. Einzig die Nr. 4 habe ich ausgelassen. Die Neuerungen von Nr. 5 hatten es mir aber echt wieder angetan. Als allererstes - der Bildschirm. Es ist einfach genial wie er sich in alle Richtungen klappen lässt. Dazu ist es ein vollwertiger Touchscreen. Das aktuelle Menüsystem war ich von meiner a7SIII bereits gewohnt und freue mich darüber, es jetzt auch in der R zu haben. Es ist übersichtlicher und lässt sich nach meinen Wünschen frei konfigurieren. Was für mich absolut wichtig geworden ist, ist die Möglichkeit sowohl für Fotos als auch für Videos unterschiedliche Einstellungen zu wählen. Das behindert einfach meinen Workflow nicht, wenn ich schnell zwischen Foto und Video Modus wechsle. Die Stabilisierung ist spürbar mächtiger geworden und der grandiose Autofokus sind einfach eine Freude. Im Videobereich konnte sie mich leider nicht ganz überzeugen. Der Rolling Shutter ist mir hier noch zu ausgeprägt für den Dauereinsatz. Dabei verfügt die Kamera über die gleiche Heatsink-Technologie wie die a7SIII um ein Überhitzen erfolgreich zu verhindern. 8K Video lesen sich zwar auf dem Papier ganz nett, jedoch ist diese Auflösung wegen dem Rolling Shutter nur auf einem Stativ zu gebrauchen. Außerdem ist er nur in 4:2:0 verfügbar. Die alpha1 hat jüngst ein Upgrade für 4:2:2 erhalten - ich hoffe dass das auch für die R kommen wird. Ich hatte gehofft, meine a7SIII in Rente schicken zu können - jedoch ist sie nach wie vor der Videochamp und kann von der neuesten R nicht ersetzt werden. Dabei wäre die verbesserte Stabilisierung genial um aus der Hand heraus ruhige Videos zu drehen. Das funktioniert richtig gut. In Verbindung mit dem AI Autofokus klingt es nach einer perfekten Kombo. Videos die keine schnellen Schwenks erfordern können sich aber dennoch sehen lassen.

Worthy Upgrade to R4

I bought htia bout a month ago knowing many of the features already as i had the R4 already. My main reason for upgrade was the fully articulated screen and the dust screen that comes down to protect the sensor from dust - a real pain with the R4 if you regularly change lenses out in the field. The one downside so far, is the battery drains faster than the R4, particularly if you want to use Bluetooth.

Für mich eine tolle Kamera und bei mir der Nachfolger auf die A7RII und die A7RIV. Für mich sehr gelungen. Bin soweit sehr zufrieden, mit einer Ausnahme. Es gibt kein GPS, dieses fehlt mir in der Reise und Landschaftsfotografie sehr.

I had a Sony A7R2 for many years and now i am using this new model. i think it is a good tool for photos and videos for a midlevel to pro image production. the image quality is superb, the 8K video it is a nice feature but it needs a powerful PC for editing. nice camera, good job Sony!

Eccellente su tutti i parametri, unico particolare che non mi piace è la regolazione dell'ingrandimento. Grave critica invece al prezzo in assoluto e anche al rapporto prezzo/qualità il prezzo degli obiettivi in particolare al 24/70, motivo per il quale ho acquistato come moltissimi un'ottica Tamron. A volte chi troppo vuole nulla stringe.

I'm using with native Sony lenses and the image quality is superb. The only real gripe I have is with the bad rolling shutter effects which occur with the electronic shutter. This rules out its use with moving subjects which is a shame. The compact body is good for travelling but the grip is too small for my hand. I use a SmallRig bracket to provide extra depth.

Après plus de 15 ans chez Nikon, me voilà chez Sony. Changer d'écosystème n'est jamais simple mais les problèmes de support technique avec mon z7 II ont eu raison de mon attachement à la marque. Donc, un A7R V et deux optiques prestigieuses : le 50mm 1.2 et le 12-24 2.8. Ma pratique photographique rend presque indispensable l'emploi du grip tant pour des questions d'ergonomie que de batterie mais voilà, ce grip présenté comme compatible (VG-C4EM) ne l'est pas : il est moins large que le boitier ce qui esthétiquement n'est pas très heureux mais surtout, une fois vissé à fond il existe un jour d'un demi millimètre entre le grip et le boitier et donc une instabilité. Contacté à plusieurs reprises, le support me renvois sur un numéro proposant de laisser mes coordonnées mais personne ne rappelle. En conclusion, le boitier, rien à dire pour l'instant mais Sony doit absolument corriger le problème du grip

Beeindruckendes Autofokussystem

Anfang des Jahres habe ich mir dieses neue Kameramodell gegönnt. Am meisten beeindruckt mich nach wie vor das präzise Autofokussystem. Zuvor hatte ich eine A99 MII; Für mich ergab sich also ein Quantensprung, was das Fokussystem angeht! Die Qualität der Fotos, die nicht zuletzt mit der Schärfe der Bilder steht und fällt, lässt somit kaum Wünsche offen. Die Wiedergabe der Farben ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Allerdings gewinnt man bei winterlichen Aufnahmen den Eindruck eines gewissen Rotstichs (ich habe aber bisher nur den automatischen Weißabgeichverwendet). Auch hervorzuheben ist das Bedienmenü, was farblich sektioniert und damit sehr viel übersichtlicher als bei meinem Vorgängermodell gestaltet ist. Ich bin somit sehr zufrieden mit meiner Investition. Doch möchte ich folgendes erwähnen: Anfangs hatte ich technische Schwierigkeiten mit dem Sucherdisplay. Dieser wies bei kalten Außentemperaturen (etwa ab -5°C und weniger) eine vertikal durchs Bild laufende haarfeine rote Linie auf, die weder auf dem rückwärtigen Display noch auf den Bildern selbst zu sehen war. Dennoch veranlasste mich dies zur Reklamation, die mit etwas Mühe und Hartnäckigkeit zu einem guten Ergebnis führte: Das Ersatzmodell wies diesen Makel nicht mehr auf.

A Superb Camera

I've been using my GMaster lenses (100-400, 24-70 and 90mm Macro) for a while now with my previous camera, A7r2 with some great result. However my success rate increased dramatically with my purchase of the A7Rv. The tracking is phenomenal for wildlife and sport and of course helped considerably by the possible subject/object selections, notably the face recognition etc. Recent images of motorsport caught facial features on motorcylists through their visors and at some speed. I'm very, very pleased that I invested in this camera and of course like all Sony products (I had quite a few) the quality is second to none.

Ich habe nach der Sony A7 III und der IV jetzt seit wenigen Wochen die V. Die Kamera ist eindeutig nochmal eine Klasse besser. Die höhere Auflösung und dann der Autofocus Der ist echt Klasse. Ich hoffe die Kamera bleibt lange Zeit aktuell. Ist ja auch etwas eine Geldfrage.

Lange habe ich auf eine Kamera gewartet, die meinen Ansprüchen gerecht ist. Mit der Sony 7R V habe ich nun alles in einem Gehäuse. Ein Autofokus auf dem ich mich immer verlassen kann. Der Sensor erlaubt Bilder sehr detailreich und gleichzeitig mit einem sehr hohem Dynamikumfang zu erstellen. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die Geschwindigkeit bei Serien Aufnahmen…15-20 währen wünschenswert.

Bonjour à tous. J’ai vendu mon Fuji X-2s pour ce plein format. Je ne regrette pas. Suivi du sujet jamais en défaut, rendu des couleurs génial ! Mes premiers tests avec cet appareil m’ont franchement emballé. Je l’ai, je crois pour longtemps. Il nécessite cependant à ce niveau les meilleurs objectifs ! Merci Sony pour ce niveau de compétence

Schneller Autofokus, scharfe Bilder. Der Monitor ist nach allen Seiten beweglich, prima Kamera. Den Kauf habe ich nicht bereut. Schade finde ich, dass der Preis für diese Kamera (Body) für die EU von Sony bewusst hoch gehalten wird, in den außereuropäischen Ländern liegt der Preis für diese Kamera bei ca. € 3.500.

L'ergonomie des menus est très bonne, je ne comprends pas ceux qui la critiquent. En revanche, le manuel téléchargé sur le site est rédigé par un tchèque qui traduit de l'ouzbek oriental qui lui-même l'avait traduit du mongol ancien, et c'est peu dire!

I bought it because of the possibilities to set different raw sizes and the capabilities to shot in 4K 50 fps. Love the Auto focus but am missing one huge thing, I did not know before, so why Sony does not allow me to shot XAVC HS in 25fps in PAL but in 24 when in NTSC. Please fix that via firmware Sony.

Neben den vielen Vorzügen die ich von Sony kenne (habe noch die 7M4, die 99M2, die 77M2 und die 77) waren folgende Kriterien für meinen Kauf ausschlaggebend: der präzise und schnelle Autofocus, das automatische Focusstacking, der erweiterte Schwenkbereich beim Monitor und ein Verschlussvorhang, der sich beim Ausschalten der Kamera vor dem Spiegel schließt (Schutz des Spiegel beim Objektivwechsel).

La fotocamera presenta nel mirino (con soggetti a media/grande distanza e dinamici) effetto flickering (es. paesaggio ripreso da nave) effetto ancora più evidente se si attiva la modalità APS-C (al fine di moltiplicare la focale X1.5). Il PZ 18-200 vignetta vistosamente fino a 30mm circa, in modalità video 4K HS e 8K. Il menù della fotocamera spesso impazzisce e comuncia a flashare. In alcuni casi la fotocamera su scatto singolo effettua da tre a cinque scatti con una variazione espositiva talmente ridotta che una foto vale l'altra e questo automatismo di fatto riempie in poco tempo la scheda di memorioa. Ho già reso la fotocamera rapporto Q/P pessimo..

Premesso che ho già una A7SM3 e volevo questa da affiancare per foto e video, la mia recensione sarà basata su questo confronto. 1. Lato video, migliorata tanto rispetto ad R4, con i molteplici fattori di crop si può convivere, il problema si presenta sui suoi 2 punti di forza, autofocus e stabilizzazione, peggiore della s3 in entrambi i casi. L'autofocus aggancia i soggetti ma fa confusione su quale tenere, io l'ho testato ad una festa di compleanno di bambini, inoltre il traking touch è poco reattivo e a volte non capisce cova vuoi agganciare, la s3 a parità di inquadratura faceva tutto alla perfezione. Lato stabilizzatore, pessima, in video non accompagna, tende a bloccare l'immagine e se fate un pan vi ritroverete con un'immagine davvero scattosa, sia in modalità Standard che Active, se provate a fare un'orbita piccola potete salutare la vostra ripresa perchè è da cestinare. Mi direte: si ma non è nata per i video, vi rispondo NI, visto il costo dovrebbe fare bene entrambe le cose :) non pretendo ai livelli della s3 come la tenuta iso, che ho trovato ottima in rapporto ai megapixel e motivo per cui non do una stella. Lato foto, qui viene il bello, testata la funzione enhanced di camera raw, che porta le foto della s3 a 48Mpx, la differenza tra le due si assottiglia vertiginosamente. Nel mio caso faccio molto reportage, la r5 mi ha attirato per i ruoi raw a meno megapixel, così non è stato, il 25mpx della r5 pesa appena 10 mega in meno del 61mpx compresso, quindi che senso ha a questo punto scattare a 25? Stessa cosa per i 15Mpx, pesano 30Mb a foto contro i 13Mb compressi della S3. Traete voi le conclusioni. Nitidezza: scordatevi di usare lenti economiche, con la r5 tirano fuori il peggio di se, questo lo sappiamo tutti, lenti che sulla s3 a tutta apertura sono delle lame, sulla r5 sono morbide al limite dello sfocato. In conclusione: ho deciso di fare il reso e tenermi stretta la s3 anche per le foto, con la funzione enhanced di photoshop diventa una camera all around, completa e scattante per via dei pochi mega pixel, minor prezzo e 120fps in 4k con autofocus. È una camera che non vale quella cifra, sicuramente starò lontano in futuro dalla serie R e sopratutto dalle recensioni di youtube, che non considerano minimamente l'utilizzo reale ma fanno solo test in studio inutili quando esci fuori.

De camera nu enige maanden in gebruik en onlangs zeer intensief gebruikt tijdens een lange reis. Het is de beste camera die ik tot nu in handen heb gehad (en ik heb er al vele 'versleten'). Gebruiksmogelijkheden en -varianten zijn te veel om op te noemen - en ik gebruik ze ook lang niet allemaal: er mee filmen doe ik bijvoorbeeld sporadisch, dus mijn mening over 'geluidskwaliteit' doet niet ter zake. De camera is aan de zware kant, zeker in combinatie met de SEL24105f4G die ik het meest gebruik, maar ligt prettig in de hand en voelt zeer degelijk aan. De bediening is plezierig en het menu is - zeker in vergelijking met dat van mijn tot nu gebruikte a7R2 - overzichtelijk in het gebruik. Sony heeft hierin een duidelijke verbeterslag gemaakt. Kortom: prijzig, maar beslist een aanrader.

Hervorragende Bildqualität, gute Ergonomie, handlich, zuverlässig. Ich fotografiere in RAW und verwende DXO, funktioniert bestens. Für meine Zwecke (Urlaub, Street, Landschaft, Porträt,…) sind Foto und Video ausreichend schnell, und den silent mode verwende ich nur gelegentlich. Sport- oder Eventfotografen sind mit einer A1 – oder deren Nachfolger – vermutlich besser dran. Herausragend der Autofokus, braucht aber ein wenig Zeit, um sich mit den Optionen fürs Feintuning vertraut zu machen. Die vielen Funktionstasten sind auch in diesem Zusammenhang sehr hilfreich, man kann die Kamera exakt an die eigenen Vorlieben und die häufigsten Situationen anpassen. Kaufentscheidend war der Sensor, der extremen Spielraum für cropping bietet: man kann mit weniger Objektiven reisen.

I bought this as an upgrade to my old Sony camera. The increased resolution is probably a little excessive for my needs but having a 26Mpixel crop mode, that is still higher res than my old A6500 is pretty incredible. I haven't got to grips with the new menu system fully yet, though it's use of colour, touch and more logical groupings are certainly better than the previous system. (though I must confess I never really found it that bad) The new AI autofocus is pretty amazing, it seems to find a subject and stick to it like glue. I haven't even got into all aspects of it yet, so will be interested how it performs with Planes and Cars and the faces that you can add. It works great with my existing Tamron lenses, and the sharpness and detail even with these 3rd party lenses is really excellent. Overall, a superb quality camera for stills photography. Video will have to wait until I have time to learn more.

Ho posseduto tutta la serie A7R e la A7R5 ha dei miglioramenti evidenti che mi hanno spinto a prenderla. Su tutti il nuovo sistema di AF che e' un netto passo vanti rispetto alle versioni 4 e 3. Anche l'ulteriore stabilizzazione nell'uso senza treppiedi e' molto utile. Inoltre lo schermo orientabile e' una piacevole aggiunta.
