This is a remarkable lens. Good value for money. Nice and light on the camera. Seems well constructed. Having given it a test run, in the garden, I find the resultant images to be very acceptable, considering its price. Very happy with this product.

I tested this lens with my new Sony A6400 camera and so far have been well pleased with the quality of the images. They are clear and show colours in their entirely. It is very easy to use and I will need to get more practice but so far I am more than happy with the results.

Sono un fotografo professionista abituato ad usare ottiche costose e prestazionali. Ho comprato questo obbiettivo leggero e maneggevole, per abbinarlo alla A 6400 che mi porto nelle mie escursioni, mi ha stupito per le prestazioni a volte molto elevate, avevo letto parecchie recensioni non proprio lusinghiere ma ho dovuto ricredermi, considerando il costo irrisorio che ha. Nitidezza e definizione non mancano, e lo stabilizzatore OSS va bene, un po lento a volte l'autofocus, ma del resto non è certo un obiettivo professionale. Soddisfatto dell'acquisto!

Nachdem meine Vollformat Kamera und ihre lichtstarken Objektiven auf Grund der Gewichtsbeschränkung beim Bordgepäck meist zu Haus bleiben, mußte etwas für das Flug-Gepäck geeignetes her. Bei mir fiel die Wahl auf die A6700 und das SEL55210 für den Tele Bereich. Bei RAW Entwicklung der Bilder in Lightroom ist die Qualität absolut in Ordnung. (Ja natürlich, mein 70-200 f2.8 ist schärfer - nützt aber wenig wenn nicht dabei).

Ich habe es seit 2 Wochen in Gebrauch mit einer a6400 und bin sehr zufrieden. Man muss bei der Lichtstärke und Fokussierung ein paar Abstriche hinnehmen, aber das war schon vorher schon klar. Dafür kann man es aber auch bezahlen.

Got this lens a month ago and I am over the moon with it. For around £200 the pictures are surprisingly sharp and the stabilisation makes the focus very reliable. I pair it with a Sony A6000 and together they are perfect for casual photography.

Das Objektiv habe ich absichtlich gekauft, als Abschluss am langen Enden. Bin überwiegend mit 35/50 unterwegs. 16/28 am kurzen Ende. Da fehlte mir etwas. Für den gelegentlichen Gebrauch kann ich mir einige Abstriche erlauben. Das Gewicht, ist das Hauptargument. Nicht zu schwer und der Tag ist gerettet. Nun die Portokasse muss zustimmen. Meine Filter mit 49mm passen, unabhängig davon ob ich sie hier benötige. Füllt die Lücke gefühlt gut aus. Ist daher genau das was ich brauche um meinen persönlichen Bedarf zu decken.

Trovato su amazon a €200 nuovo, non me lo sono lasciato scappare. A questo prezzo è un affare! Abbastanza leggero, risulta comodo da usare anche in lunghe sessioni di scatti. Autofocus preciso per non perdere nessuna occasione, può risultare un po' buio a 210mm. Tutto sommato un obiettivo che consiglio ad un appassionato che non può o non vuole spendere eccessivamente per un obiettivo fotografico che comunque ha tutta la qualità Sony.

I bought this as logical lens to go with the 16-50mm EPZ kit lens that came with my Sony A6000. The lens certainly adds a lot of extra reach and creative flexibilty with good optics. It is lightweight and perfect partner to go with the kit lens especially if travelling . The picture quality for the price point is very good in my opinion.

I previously owned this lens but I sold it and replaced with a much longer lens. Whilst the longer lens is a much better lens all round, it was much bigger and heavier to carry around for a walk around lens. This is when I realised the Sony SEL55210 E 55-210mm was a very useful lens and much easier to use as a walk around lens so I decided to replace it with a new one. Is it the best lens around no, however for the value for money, the size and weight of the lens and what you are getting for your money, I would definitely say yes. If you want that extra reach and want to add another lens to your kit lens, you won't go far wrong with this one. I cannot give it 5/5 but 4/5 I would say is an reasonable score.

Good budget option for A7C full frame.

Bought used at €125. For snaps of distant objects centre field. Removed plastic baffle and when used at max zoom on full frame setting there is a small amount of vignetting in corners that can be cropped away. Delivers sharper subject that on APS-C setting. Is generally smaller, lighter and cheaper than full frame alternatives.

Buon obiettivo, ma bisogna sapere che cosa si ha in mano. Un obiettivo leggero adattissimo alla mia alfa6000, di dimensioni contenute, da portarsi dietro spesso e volentieri ha per contro una dimensione delle lenti non grandissima e una luminosità sicuramente un pò critica. Risultato: va benissimo soprattutto alle basse/medie focali e con buona luce. Diminuendo l'illuminazione bisogna cominciare ad allungare i tempi e/o alzare gli ISO, con le conseguenze del caso (micromosso, rumorosità). Sapendolo usare quindi darà le sue soddisfazioni. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Praticamente con il 16/50 in dotazione si riesce a coprire quasi tutte le focali di cui si ha bisogno, con peso e volumi contenuti al massimo.

Das SEL55210 ist ein Telezoom mit fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Brennweite von 55 bis 210 mm deckt viele Anwendungsbereiche ab, für eine Safari wird man aber mehr brauchen. Die Lichtstärke ist nur Mittelmaß, aber wir reden hier von einem Objektiv in der Einsteigerklasse. Einen optischen Bildstabilisator hat es aber, eine Sonnenblende ist mitgeliefert. Es wirkt gut verarbeitet und ist einfach benutzbar. Fazit: für den Preis sehr empfehlenswert, Profis dürften aber ein Objektiv mit mehr Brennweite und Lichtstärke wollen.

Een degelijke lens en een mooie aanvulling op de SELP1650. De lens is niet groot en neemt niet veel ruimte in beslag. Perfect om mee te nemen als je op reis gaat. Daarnaast kan je ook mooie macro foto's maken ondanks dat het geen macro lens is.

I bought this shortly after getting my a5100. Using the and the standard kit lens I was able to explore all areas off photography which interested me due to the wide range of focal length I now had access to. Since then I have only purchased prime lenses, but the the focal lengths decided upon where mostly influence by the photography I was enjoying with this lens.

Per il prezzo di questo articolo non so può chiedere di meglio quindi direi top acquisto anche se ai lati nella foto perde un po'di qualità.

purchased as part of a package on a first time interchangable lens system. Not disappointed as it does exactly what it is meant to do although on reflection I should maybe have spent more time with just the kit lens before narrowing down my actual requirements. But for the price and performance, very good.

Comprato nel kit dell'a6000 nel 2014, l'ho mantenuto anche passando all'a6400. Buone prestazioni sopratutto a diaframmi superiori alla tutta apertura, anchese un po' buio. Buona la stabilizzazione in particolare se montato sull'a6400.
