Great value lens

I initially had my doubts about this lens. Since purchasing my Sony a7Rii camera I have spent a considerable amount of money on E mount lenses which cost far more money that this FE28mm F2 lens. I love this lens and it really fits that specific niche for me. With the recent price drop of the Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 which is next on my list, I will still be using this 28mm lens a lot. I am not a professional but merely a keen photographer. What I really like with primes is that I have to "work hard' to get the shot and this often captures much better images for me. Also the Sony a7Rii is a really great Video camera. I work in Post Production and will be using this 28mm quite a bit for shooting video. Great lens, do not underestimate it, nor think less about it just because it is cheaper than most of the other E mount lenses. Really recommend this lens, always has a spot in my "kit bag"

Ottica compatta, e ormai un must-have come tutto fare senza cadere negli zoom. Avevo letto molto dei suoi difetti di distorsione, ma una volta fuori dalla scatola pensavo fosse tutto falso: montato sulla mia A7r2 non da alcun segno di deformazione in nessuna condizione. La sorpresa arriva in postproduzione, quando l'autocorrezione della macchina non ha alcun effetto: su LR appare subito una distorsione veramente abbondante a barilotto. L'aspetto positivo è che è una distorsione abbastanza semplice (non è composta come i classici grandangoli a "baffo") e quindi recuperabile. Non correggo mai la distorsione degli obiettivi, ma in questo caso è veramente obbligatorio farlo. Anche in scatti in cui non ci sono linee dritte che diano un riferimento della deformazione, rimane comunque un effetto "fisheye" non molto simpatico. Dopotutto il 28mm è votato ad essere un'ottica da reportage in ambiente urbano, potevano starci un po' più attenti. Per il prezzo si poteva far meglio. Il resto delle prestazioni sono in linea con la sua classe: ottima nitidezza fin da TA al centro, ai bordi solo chiudendo un po' il diaframma. Caduta di luce accettabile. Se avessi la bacchetta magica la prima cosa che chiederei è un nuovo schema ottico che annulli (o quasi) la distorsione. La seconda un design ancora più compatto ed un paraluce più retrò. In questo momento però è l'unica scelta sensata sul mercato per attacco E.

Bonjour, J’adore le 28 mm. Par contre votre objectif devrait être modernisé pour avoir une bague de diaphragme, peut être revoir le calcul optique pour les capteurs haute définition comme le a7R5 que je possède. Pour qu’il reste compact garder l’ouverture à f2. Merci pour la prise en compte.

Super objektiv. Man sollte etwas schauen, dass man ein gutes erwischt. Meins ist gut scharf auch bei offenblende ultra kompakt und günstig. Ich hab es gern dabei. Für den Preis wirklich ein tolles Objektiv.

Ho acquistato questo articolo usato su Amazon, e mi e` arrivato in condizioni pari al nuovo, mi sono stupito. E` un obiettivo molto leggero ma molto ben assemblato e che da una buonissima sensazione di robustezza. Lo ho preso per foto di panorami e street photography e debbo dire che dopo un discreto utilizzo resto molto soddisfatto. A diaframmi molto aperti perde qualcosina in nitidezza e vignettatura, no aberrazione cromatica. Nulla di importante e che non si possa correggere in post produzione. Valutazione importante da fare e` la qualita`/prezzo, sicuramente favorevole a questo obiettivo.

Obiettivo per FF molto compatto e leggero, perfetto per street o per eventi usando due corpi stando leggeri, relazionato al prezzo e alle dimensioni è un'ottica valida! Af molto buono. Ai bordi decate la nitidezza ma rimane accettabile, la luminosità è solo f2 e sfocato anche non è epico ma sempre rapportato alle dimensioni rimane molto valido.

Ho comprato il 28mm perché in una recensione ne patlVano bene(28mmm in generale full frame). Peccato sia disprezzata cone focale, ma è straordinaria storici parlando. Ok il 24 1,4 G Master, ma 28 ci puoi fate di tutto. I miei matrimoni 28/2 e 50 /1,2 . Del 50 non parlo perché dire fantastico dico tutto, ma se ci fosse u 28 degno del 50 lo prenderei ad occhi chiusi. Questo vale di più del suo prezzo ma rimane sempre tre gradini sotto Sper che sony ma sopratutto i colleghi spingano per un buon 28mm

Ich empfinde es für 28 mm zu gross und zu lang. Konnte mich daher mit dem Objektiv nie anfreunden. Qualitativ war es sicher gut, jedoch zu wenig benutzt. Die Fokus-by-Wire-Funktion ist eher nicht so gelungen...

Verwendet an der A7r2. Positiv: - Günstiger Preis. - Für ein 2.0/28 klein und sehr leicht. - AF ist geräuschlos. - Doppelter Nutzen als Weitwinkel an Vollformat und als Standard-Brennweite an APS-C. Negativ: - Bildschärfe ist mäßig. Meine uralten Pentax 2.8/28 und Yashica 2.8/28 sind bei allen Blenden in der Mitte und am Rand schärfer. Liegt vielleicht an der elektronischen Verzeichnungskorrektur, die ja viel Auflösung kosten dürfte. - AF ist nicht sehr zuverlässig. In ca. 80% der Fälle sitzt er sofort; bei 10% sucht er; bei 10% kann er nicht scharfstellen. Ob das an der Kamera oder am Objektiv liegt, kann ich nicht beurteilen -- dies ist mein einziges Sony-AF-Objektiv. - Manuelle Fokussierung wegen der Drehgeschwindigkeitsabhängigkeit des Fokusrings unbrauchbar. - Blendenbedienung an der Kamera statt am Objektiv sehr unpraktisch. - Fehlende Schärfentiefeskala. - Blende ist beim Öffnen und Schließen deutlich hörbar. Unter dem Strich ein vielseitig einsetzbares, praktisches, sehr leichtes und relativ kleines Objektiv, von dem man in Bedienung und optischer Leistung keine Spitzenwerte erwarten kann. Aufgrund des niedrigen Preises für mich dennoch eine klare Empfehlung.

Very small and light so great for carrying around and outdoor work. The f2 is very useable and not as soft as some reviews suggest, though at the f20 and f22 end it does get a bit soft. Cercavo da tempo un 28 mm all'altezza di altre marche che negli scorsi anni e precedenti attrezzature ho avuto, e dopo aver letto alcuni consigli e visto qualche video su YouTube, mi sono convinto che avrei fatto la scelta giusta scegliendolo e così è stato!!! Lo consiglio vivamente!!! AF impeccabile qualità ottica altissima nonostante una vignettatura romantica e poetica ( che a me piace moltissimo )

Il 28mm risulta essere il miglior obiettivo nel mio corredo grazie alla sua versatilità (si può trasformare in un 21 mm grazie ad un convertitore da comprare a parte) e alla sua ottima costruzione. E' legerissimo, molto luminoso e stabilizzato, motivo per cui me lo porto sempre in dietro sia per paesaggi, street photography o anche per riprendermi in alcuni casi. La ciliegina sulla torta è che soffre di pochissima distorzione e che il costo rimane contenuto per quello che fa sopratutto se è comprato in offerta. Io l'ho comprato per la seconda volta in quanto ho perso il primo che avevo in mio possesso.

Kommt bei mir auf der a6300 zum Einsatz. Liefert gute Ergebnisse und ist sein Geld auf jeden Fall wert. Nur die Bildschärfe könnte etwas besser sein, ist aber immer noch vollkommen in Ordnung.

Das Objektiv hat gutes Handling. Es ist angenehm klein und leicht, aber durchaus robust verarbeitet. Es ist mit F2.0 recht lichtstark und erzeugt ein angenehmes Bokeh. Verzeichnung und Vignettierung hat es dagegen gut im Griff. Ich habe letztens eine Hochzeit nur mit diesem Objektiv fotografiert und war von den Ergebnissen einfach nur begeistert. Das Brautpaar übrigens auch. ;-)

Das Objektiv macht mir Freude. Die wertige Verarbeitung mit einer Metallfassung sorgt für eine prima Haptik. Der Autofokus ist nahezu lautlos, schnell und präzise. Die optische Leistung an meiner Sony Alpha 7 II ist gut. Schon bei offener Blende ist die Schärfe in der Bildmitte überzeugend. Das Bokeh ist dabei sehr ansehnlich. Ablenden verbessert die Schärfe im Randbereich deutlich. Ab ca. Blende 8 ist der Schärfeeindruck über die gesamte Bildfläche sehr gut. So kann man das FE 28mm 2.0 auch für Landschaft oder Architektur einsetzen. Ebenfalls lobenswert: Durch das geringe Gewicht ist man mit der Alpha 7 II sehr mobil und unbeschwert unterwegs. Ich wünsche mir, dass Sony künftig noch 1-2 weitere Objektive von solcher Qualität zu einem erschwinglichen Preis anbietet.

J'ai acheté cet article pour répondre à un besoin lors de mariage, à savoir avoir une ouverture assez grande et un grand angle pour les espaces à faible recul. L'objectif est un peu mou à pleine ouverture, centre ok mais bords justes. L'objectif devient excellent à partir de F4. Testé sur aps-c et plein format.

Ho preso quest'ottica insieme al FE85mmf1. 8 e su A7II e successivamente su A7III la trovo olto valida in tutti gli aspetti... Le dimensioni sono molto compatte, apertura f2 molto nitida rende questo obbiettivo un buon compagno per ritratti ambientati. Il meglio si ottiene chiudendo i diaframmi da 5.6 a f8. Per la street photography è l'ideale dato che ti permette di stare nella scena con discrezione date le dimensioni. Af molto veloce sia su A7II che A7III... Ho affiancato ora un 35mmf2.8ZA Sonnar solo peravere meno distorsione nei ritratti ( il 28mm va usato con molto riguardo nei ritratti data la distorsione). Nel complesso è una lente "must have" per un fotografo di strada.

Das SEL 28/20 ist mein immerdrauf. Da ich sehr viel street fotografiere, habe ich mit 28mm, auf meiner alpha 6000, das perfekte objektiv für mich gefunden. Einziges manko ist der fehlende stabi. Ist jetzt aber auch nicht so schlimm, da ich ja eh mindestens mit 1/50sek. belichte. Ich kann das objektiv auf jeden fall empfehlen.

28mm mit etwas Tonnenverzeichnung (ohne Korrektur etwas weiter), von jeher meine Lieblingsbrennweite. Bei f2,0 tolles Bokeh. Das Objektiv ist gut verarbeitet, klein und unauffällig. AF ist schnell und geräuschlos.

Offenblendig nicht bis in den Ecken scharf, allerdings sehr gut beim Fokussieren in Low-Light. Bei 28mm und Blende 2.0 lassen sich Motive gut freistellen. Blendet man etwas ab, nimmt die Schärfe auch im Randbereich zu. Für viele Nutzer eine eher ungewohnte Brennweite, aber ich möchte sie - nicht zuletzt aufgrund des schnellen, präzise Autofokus - nicht missen.

Bei der mir vorliegenden Version ist die optische Leistung leider mehr als nur ungenügend. Wenn überhaupt, dann könnte man ab f/8.0 von einer einigermaßen akzeptablen Abbildung sprechen. Davor hat das nicht wirklich was mit einem fotografischen Produkt zu tun. Das mir vorliegende 28mm f2 ist von der optischen Leistung mit Abstand das schlechteste Objektiv, was mir in 30 Jahren Fotografie untergekommen ist. Und ich habe wirklich schon mit sehr vielen Objektiven an verschiedensten Kameras gearbeitet. Ich hoffe jetzt ein passend gefertigtes oder eingestelltes im Austausch zu erhalten.
