Unbelievably sharp lens. The Eye AF tracks perfectly for portraits even in low light. The two focus hold buttons instead of the one is very useful when rotating the camera for portraits. The lens is expensive but you get what you pay for with the G master lens. Very happy.

preso come nuovo da un amico, volevo qualcosa di più spinto da affiancare al mio 28-70mm f2 gm, devo dire che si è rivelato un compagno perfetto insieme anche al 14mm gm, una messa a fuoco tra le più rapide mai viste, non eccessivamente pesante, nitidissimo ma senza essere clinico come molti gm, ha una resa molto simile a quella del 28-70, lo trovo magico. Ha quel carattere nello sfocato e sopratutto in controluce che è "sognante". Non è stabilizzato come il canon certo ma alla fine su camere dotate di ibis non è un problema. rimarrà sicuramente con me per tanto tempo !

Ich hätte das Objektiv nicht dringend gebraucht, da ich die Brennweite mit dem FE 70-200 habe. Die positiven Berichte haben mich aber neugierig gemacht. Um es kurz zu machen, es ist unfassbar scharf und mit der f1.8 hat es ein tolles Bokeh! Ich nutze es an meiner A7RV und diese Kombi liefert Bilder, wie ich sie in dieser Schärfe und Klarheit noch nicht gesehen habe. Es springt einem direkt ins Auge! Durch die hohe Auflösung der Kamera und die sehr gute BQ des Objektivs hat man auch ungeahnte Möglichkeiten zu croppen. Ich werde das Objektiv für die Landschaftsfotografie nutzen, da es mir gerade da auf das letzte Quäntchen Schärfe ankommt.

Ive had this lens for a year now, superb sharpness, quick focus, would highly recommend. Still my favourite lens. Although watch out for the barrel fitting on the lens hood as this broke and cost a couple of hundred pounds to fix and apparently isn't covered by warranty even though I am careful and everything wrapped after use!

Un objectif que j'utilise dans le monde équestre et il me donne une nouvelle dimension créative par rapport au 70-200 2.8 qui est mon quotidien. Le bokeh est doux, à 1.8 la profondeur de champ est très bonne. La mise au point est quasi instantané et ne décroche pas, du moins avec mon Sony A1. Juste un petit bémol mais ce sera pour chipoter, le poids assez conséquent.

I had read a lot about this lens before purchasing it. The lens did not disappoint. It's beautifully made, incredibly sharp with gorgeous bokeh. I use it with a Sony A7CR, I thought it might be too heavy for the camera but actually I find it easy to carry when combined with a wrist strap. Overall I really love this lens.

Das 135/1.8 GM hat mich bereits beim ersten Einsatz voll überzeugt und daran hat sich im Weiteren auch nichts geändert. Die Bildqualität ist schlicht hervorragend. Scharf, sehr ansprechende Unschärfe, keine sichtbaren CAs. Was mich bei Hunde-Actionshootings besonders beeindruckt, ist der präzise und extrem schnelle Autofokus in Verbindung mit der A9. Mein 70-200 GM kommt da nicht mit.

Ich habe mir das Sony 135mm f1.8 GM gekauft wegen der geringen Naheinstellgrenze, der großen Blende und der sehr guten Schärfe. Nach dem ersten Fotowalk mit dem Objektiv an meiner Sony A7R4A habe ich mich Kopfüber in dieses Objektiv verliebt. Ich bereue den Kauf überhaupt nicht.

Having used other 135mm lenses in the past I decided to move from my Zeiss Batis to this G master lens and I have to say it was worth it. Yes it’s larger and heavier but the F1.8 is so dreamy it’s just worth it. Difficult decision for some but for me personally it’s the right choice. If you’re wanting one of the best lenses Sony have ever made then this is the one. Just go for it and enjoy the results

Ich habe auf Grund des hohen Preises lange gezögert, bis ich mir das Sony 135mm Objektiv gekauft habe. Vor 2 Wochen habe ich dann das Objektiv gekauft und seitdem ist es zu meinem Sony Lieblingsobjektiv geworden. Aufgrund der hohen Lichtstärke von 1.8 schlägt es meiner Meinung nach jedes Zoom in dem Bereich hinsichtlich Bokeh und Mindestabstand. Durch den relative geringen Mindestabstand lassen sich damit tolle Close-up-Portraits erzeugen - ich liebe dies. Auch in der Street-Fotografie hat es mir gute Dienste geleistet. Somit klare Empfehlung von meiner Seite.

Le Sony GM135 f/1.8 est un monstre optique ! Cet objectif est la Rolls-Royce de la photographie, conçu pour les pros et les passionnés exigeants. Sa qualité de construction est rock solid, capable de survivre à toutes les aventures. Les images sont nettes comme un rasoir, avec une profondeur de champ qui te fera tomber à la renverse. Même dans le noir complet, cette bête capture des détails époustouflants sans clignoter de l'œil. Son autofocus est rapide et silencieux, un vrai ninja de la netteté. Si tu as un appareil Sony, c'est l'âme sœur parfaite. En résumé, le Sony GM135 f/1.8 est un véritable bijou qui te fera tomber amoureux de la photo à chaque clic !

Das Objektiv ist knackig scharf, der Autofokus packt sehr gut und schnell. Wer die Brennweite mag und auch beherrschen kann, bekommt für viel Geld eine Linse der Superlative und ohne große Schwächen. Warum beherrschen? Durch die 135mm Festbrennweite ist man relativ nah am Geschehen und in einigen Situationen evtl. zu nah, da hilft nur laufen, oder kompromissbereit sein. Wenn ich etwas Negatives nennen müsste, wäre das die Gegenlichtblende, die zwar echt hochwertig ist, unter anderem innen mit schwarzen Stoff / Filz bespannt und recht stabil wirkt, die Arretierung ist aber sehr schwach. Nachdem sie schon mehrfach vom Objektiv abgefallen ist, habe ich sie heute irgendwo im Wald verloren und nicht mehr gefunden. Ersatz von Sony liegt bei 75,- €, evtl. etwas überzogen, aber keine GeLi ist auch keine Lösung 😒

This lens is truly special in a good way. It’s very sharp yet still provides a beautiful and soft bokeh, which isn’t always the case with lots of other lenses. Also the rendering this lens gives is just stunning! On top of all that the AF is very fast, precise and reliable, and even quite. Overall this is probably the best portrait lens I’ve ever used. And it’s more versatile than I originally thought it would be, not only can it be used for portraits (you need some distance), but also for street photography and sport and pet photography, as long as the subject isn’t too far away like with wildlife. Overall this lens is highly recommended from my point of view.

Für Portraitfotografen fast schon ein pflicht Objektiv, ich habe mir dieses Objektiv für die Hochzeits- und Portraitfotografie gekauft. Mit der Blende 1.8 und den 135mm bekommt man eine wirklich sehr schöne Freistellung mit einem wunderschönem Bokeh.

Moi qui suis un adepte des focales fixes, je suis ravi de l'acquisition de ce 135mm. Il est d'une netteté, d'un piqué inégalable et me permet de bénéficier à fond des fonctionnalités de mon Alpha 7R5! Et en mode APSC il se transforme en un 200mm sans perte de qualité. Je recommande vivement!

Dieses Objektiv ist wahrlich sein Geld wert! Es wertet deine Arbeiten massiv auf, der Look des Bokehs ist einzigartig! Die Schärfe ist selbst auf Distanz und bei Ganzkörper-Portraits gewaltig und tadellos! Der Focus ist blitzschnell, bei 100 Bildern ist vllt. mal eins unscharf. Das ist eine exzellente Quote. Es ist deswegen mein neues Allways-Mounted Objektiv geworden. Ich liebe es! Und zu guter Letzt macht es auch optisch ordentlich was her und wirkt dadurch unglaublich professionell! Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Tolles Objektiv für Fotografie und Video. Sehr schönes Bokeh, schnell in der Fokussierung, bin sehr zufrieden damit. Das Gewicht des Objektivs ist angesichts der Brennweite normal. Genaues Fokussieren, was mir sehr wichtig ist.

The lens is well balanced, very sharp, contrasty very fast and accurate focussing, pleasing bokeh, very wide F for the focal length, on Sony A1 it is a perfect match for head and shoulder portrait lens. Superb cinematic video. with 50 1.2, two of best lenses I have bought.

Das Teleobjektiv verwende ich an meiner Alpha7M4 und M3: Die Schärfe der Bilder ist hervorragend, die Lichtstärke macht das Fotografieren auch ohne zusätzliche Beleuchtung z.B. in einer Turnhalle möglich. Gesichts- und Augenautofokus arbeiten super schnell. Hinweis: Kamera und Objektiv wiegen zusammen ca. 1600g. Wer nur mit dem Smartphone fotografiert, muss sich an etwas mehr Gewicht gewöhnen.

Excellente 135 mm, geschikt voor portret, product fotografie, landschap, indoor sport en voor alles wat op je weg komt die het toelaat met dit brandpunt te fotograferen. Diafragma open of dichtgeknepen maakt weinig uit... altijd scherp. De autofocus snelheid is razendsnel en precies. Geen vervorming of CA. Gewicht en grootte is een meevaller en ligt mooi in balans op een A7/9/1 serie. Zonnekap is van de betere, met fluwelen binnenkant, rubberen boord en aparte vergrendelknop. De focus ring is precies en soepel. Schakelaar voor MF/AF en focus limiet is aardig. Meegeleverde mooie draagtas van goede kwaliteit. Niet goedkoop maar je krijgt waar je voor betaald. Dit is echt een uitstekend objectief, echt niets op aan te merken. Top!

Wie die meisten GM Festbrennweiten eigentlich ohne Fehler oder kritische Bewertungsmöglichkeiten. Schärfe, Brillanz und Autofocus stimmen an der Alpha 7 R3 und Alpha 7 c. Was mich zusätzlich überrascht hat, ist die wirklich hervorragnede Macroleistung des Objektives mit Balgen und Zwischenring. Hier ist der Autofocus und die Schärfe gleichwertig oder besser als bei dem 90 mm G Marco von Sony oder dem 105 mm Macro von Sigma. Erst ab 1:2 können die Spezialisten überzeugen.

Mein neues Exemplar (2019) hat leider Staub Einschlüsse in den Linsenelementen. Bemerkt, erst Zuhause, beim Händler ist es mir noch nicht aufgefallen. (Umtausch ist möglich) Trotzdem schade für so ein schönes Objektiv und diese Preisklasse. Ansonsten perfektes Objektiv, aber wegen Staub Einschlüsse ab Werk: Fabrikneu, leider 1 Stern Abzug. (Der Sony Kunde erwartet ein absolut perfektes High End Objektiv in dieser Preisklasse, dass perfekt frei von Staub ist, dafür müssen bei der Montage enorm penibel gearbeitet werden und auch im Nachhinein jedes GM Objektiv kontrolliert werden.
