superb sound

had the ht-ct800 about 2 weeks after returning the ht-ct790 which developed faults, and as i had already bought a couple of speakers to go with the ht-ct790, i needed a soundbar to work with the speakers and though the ht-ct800 was more expensive i believe it is money well spent. Sound, base and connectivity are excellent.

Breaks down after 8 months

I bought this 11 months ago and for the first 8 months it worked fine. Then it developed a fault with the HDMI inputs because the poor right angled design of the inputs places unnecessary stress on the HDMI circuit board connections causing them to fail. It is in for repair but because of the design fault I doubt it will last very long.

Previously used for KDL-32W705B, it also works great. Now with the KD-50X75WL the change has been for good. The sound and image make a difference! SONY quality makes a difference 🤩

good for small room with BT issue

The looking nice device is not that loud. It could be louder. But it has a serious issue. Quiet sounds are cut and the soundbar mutes. When the song starts playing soft sounds the soundbar switches on when the sound is louder so it doesn't play at the beginning of the song. Ir it mutes when the film has silent moments.

Tja, ten opzichte qua mogelijkheden een vooruitgang met mijn vorig model, ct370, maar het geluid laat te wensen over. Het is vooral schel en hard. Een equalizer optie is meer dan wenselijk. Ik mis het warme geluid. Een zesje op de schaal van 10.

Ich habe mir vor 2 Jahren diese Anlage gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden. Im Allgemeinen finde alle Artikel von Sony sehr gut, Handy, TV, DVD-Player, Kopfhörer und eben Soundbar. Die Soundbar habe ich mir zugelegt, auch aus dem Grund, da man diese mit Rücksprechern erweitern kann. Leider finde ich die Rücksprecher nicht, hab aber auch noch nicht beim Support nachgefragt.

Fa sicuramente il suo dovere, l’ho collegato al televisore tramite hdmi quindi si accende e spegne insieme alla tv(comodità non da poco). Prima avevo un sistema 5.1 (sicuramente più performante) ma che usavo molto poco perché mi scocciava posizionare gli altoparlanti posteriori ed avere un altro telecomando per le mani. Insomma è un notevole miglioramento dell’audio del televisore ma non aspettatevi un audio surround. Ottimo per ascoltare musica si collega tramite Bluetooth con qualsiasi dispositivo

Easy setup with plenty of connections. Very impressed with sound options and happy with the sub output, sky movies action is crisp and punchy. Thought I had an issue with the sound dropping out but setting the sky remote with the correct code fixed that issue.

La barre et le subwoofer ont un son impeccable et puissant. Je l'utilise avec les fonctionnalités Bravia sync sur un écran Sony, ce qui rend sont utilisation extrêmement pratique. Le chromecast intégré est super utile lorsqu'on est abonné à Google play music. Seul défaut, les commandes du téléviseur ne parviennent pas au décodeur proximus raccordé sur la barre son pour changer les chaînes.

Ho comprato questa sound bar un mese fa e devo dire che sono molto soddisfatto. Design accattivante software intuitivo, si percepisce subito che non è la solita sound bar. Ottima la riproduzione delle frequenze alte come anche i bassi, che sono corposi e potenti. Nota dolente sono le medie frequenze. In generale vale assolutamente la spesa. Per quanto riguarda la connettività credo che minca ci sia di meglio sul mercato; Bluetooth e Wi-Fi ingressi hdmi in/out uscita ottica streaming di musica attraverso spotify. Insomma ha veramente tutto. Sarei curioso di provare a installare anche degli altoparlanti posteriori che si vendono separatamente.

Ho deciso di acquistare questo prodotto dopo averne provato un altro e devo dire di aver fatto centro. La fedeltà di riproduzione, la chiarezza del suono, la precisione e la potenza del prodotto ti portano dritto dentro lo schermo nella storia che stai guardando. Non è facile ottenere un simile equilibrio, dove non ti accorgi quasi che il prodotto è in funzione ma ti accorgi di non riuscire a staccarti dalle scene che stai guardando. Sony è riuscita a creare un bel valore aggiuntivo alla TV di casa, trasformandola in uno schermo da cinema, valore che pienamente la fiducia del consumatore.

Im Zusammenspiel mit Sony Fernseher sowie Playstation 4 ist die Handhabung der Soundbar SEHR einfach. Der Sound ist deutlich besser als direkt vom Fernseher, der Subwoofer könnte eine Note stärker sein. Andererseits ist ein nicht allzu mächtiger Subwoofer im Wohnbau für ein gutes Verhältnis zu den Nachbarn empfehlenswert. :-) Wünschenswert wäre noch eine Montageschiene für die Soundsbar, da bei uns auch der Fernseher an der Wand hängt.

Een paar weken nu genoten van het geluid en bedien gemak van de soundbar. De arc aansturing/samenwerking met de dont tv is fantastisch. Ook de music center app om de soundbar te bedienen werkt goed. Streamen en spotify is simpel en goed. Geluid is ook super, de subwoofer is krachtig en goed in balans met de speakers. Helemaal TOP

First of all I found this product very easy to set up strait out the box. Connecting my game consul, satellite box and USB drive which are all attached using HDMI through the sound bar proved no problem and I was ready to go within minutes. Once set up and working the instruction manual allowed me to fine tune things like sound and picture very easily and seamlessly and I have not encountered any issues so far. As for the sound I am very impressed. Watching movies, especially in 4k, the sound is very clear with deep impact full bass, this is also true when gaming on my consul. Again music comes over really clear especially when using the features that enhance MP3's. I have not used the blue tooth features as yet but hope to do this in the future. I like the fact I could add some rear speakers like the SRS-ZR5 or 7's in the future which would give me a fuller surround sound but I am very satisfied with the product and would say it is value for money.

This was a replacement for my previous Sony sound bar that unfortunately developed a fault. Although somewhat more expensive I feel it was well worth the extra cost. Brilliant sound many good features easy setup blends in well with Sony 55" tv. My only criticism would be that it is a dust magnet.
