Reader stuck on starting up page for weeks! Laptop not finding device. Attempted reset with no success. Any help gratefully received!

Tried a hard reset as well as a soft reset ?

Remember you will lose all content, unlike the soft version, so make sure as much as you can is backed-up, or still in your downloads.
