How do I register my Japanese product on the UK site.

I just purchased a second hand Japanese Sony HDR-CX520V (NTSC) and wish to register it on the UK site. The UK site does not recognise HDR-CX520V as a valid model but does recognise my almost identical but English HDR-CX520VE (PAL) model.

I looked for an e-mail address for the web admin and customer services but to no avail.

I have worked on another PC manufacturer and usually, registration is regional. Have you tried calling the support instead?

I hope you are resided in UK right now.

I just found a Sony UK phone number 08705 111999 on a document several years old for something else.

Not sure if it's current but I'll give it a try Monday.

Interestingly the English version of the camera includes Japanese language support but the Japanese version does not include English language support.
