Hi ime still having problems with sound i have updated my dual tv tuners and the sound device i have tried a hdmi lead a nd a dvi lead but still no joy i can see the bars moving up and down when i play a song there is nothing muted can anyone help

Morning

Still no joy i have the tuners showing in device manager with no conflicts i have upgraded the sound driver i believe it is a sonic when playing a song i can see the bars moving up and down i have tried a line in from the dvi port still se thbars moving but still no sound there is nothing muted ime a bit lost know do i need a different cable or should sound come when the hdmi cable is in (i loaded the original drivers)

Hi Did you sort your problem out I have a Vaio vgx xl 301 but i cannot get anysound from system i can see it working in device manager there are no conflicts on the computer i use a hdmi lead to connect to tv and in sounds it is set to hdmi can anyone help

Hi got the tuners working but still no sound ime using a hdmi cable and the settings areset to that but still no sound any ideas, thanks robert

hi ther i have the same problem device manager says no drivers have been loaded or needed for my multimedia controllers i have a dual tuner my sytem is a vgx xl 301 have you found any help or sorted the situation i could do with some help but it is doin my head in

Morning Fellas

The Computer is sony vaio VGX XL301 with dual tuners i have installed windows 7 i have set the sound input and output to hdmi when playing music i can see the bars goin up and down, in device manager it states there are no drivers loaded for the multimedia device i beleive this is the problem but can i find any drivers anywere nope i have not got the original software it came pre installed and of course like a numpty i deleted the d drive which the recovery was on hope you can help
