Same here....

I bought the above tv about 16 months ago and to be honest this is something that I should of sorted out soon after my purchase

On the left side of the screen as you look there are faint black lines going from the bottom to the top of the screen. When I am watching a film or a normal tv show I don't notice then. However, they become particularly prominent when watching football or rugby, and especially when the screen pans from left to right or vice versa.

What to do????

I too have this problem and it's getting worse. I have posted on this forum before but no response from Sony. I have no idea what to do.....Did anyone ever find a solution?

Do Sony actually bother to read and reply on these threads? I'm at a loss as to what to do and these dark shadows are really starting to irritate me now - when I watch the TV they are all I focus in on.

Is this a case of Sony getting there money from me then offering no support/customer services......?
