The HKC-HB15 Fibre Transmission Unit is an upgrade for the HDC1500/1500R camera that doubles the signal transmission bitrate to 3G (3 Gigabit/second). Cameras with this enhanced capability are able to work as a complete 1080/50p or 60p production system.
Upgraded cameras and CCUs will be ready for use in future 3G and 3D video environments.
